About
My name is Robbie and I’m currently a senior at Middlebury College. Since I was a kid, one of my interests has been foreign languages. I’ve studied quite a few but I’ve also been interested in the process of learning foreign languages… which methods work the best, the quickest, etc.
I wrote this book because there is not a lot of information out there on the techniques that actually work the best for learning a foreign language. In fact, most of the methods used in classes and books that I’ve come across are actually slow and not very helpful.
Learn That Language Now is a way that I can pass on the information I’ve obtained over the years so that other language learners can immediately begin using the techniques that work quickly and effectively.
The other reason I wrote this book is because I am trying to pursue my dream of living in Tokyo, Japan after I graduate from college. I studied there during my junior year abroad and kept a blog while I was there. This dream may be a bit difficult because I don’t have a job and I’m lacking in money. This book is one way that I hopefully pay my rent when I go over there hopefully in the fall of 2008.
If you have any advice for me or know anything about job opportunities in Tokyo, feel free to e-mail me. Thanks!
