What Language Software Will Make You Fluent

I was asked about language software. More specifically, what language software will make you fluent? I’ve come across a lot of methods and software in my time learning languages so let’s take a closer look at this issue.

The truth is, to date, I have not come across any one specific language software program that will make you fluent in a foreign language by itself. Not Rosetta Stone or any of the other software programs like the Rocket series.

The problem with these programs is that they simply do not teach enough grammar, sentence structure and vocabulary to get you to fluency. They do a pretty good job of covering the basics and maybe taking you to an intermediate level, but they definitely do not get you anywhere near fluency. When I say fluency, I mean the ability to read newspapers directed towards native speakers of the language or the ability to watch the news in a country where the language is spoken. You may be able to get the gist of what is being said but you won’t be anywhere near 100% comprehension. You won’t even be close.

Additionally, no software program can “make” you fluent. You still need to go through the program and do each of the lessons making sure to work hard to remember what you are being taught. It seems that these days, many people are looking towards software as the new cutting edge product that will make them fluent in a foreign language without having to actually do any work.

So, if you’re looking to reach fluency in a foreign language, keep in mind that you will need to do your own studies outside of whatever software program you may use. These software programs can be a great tool to help you learn the basics or to help you learn part of the language, but you will need to go to other sources or do your own study to reach a true advanced level.

If you are serious about learning a foreign language to fluency, I highly recommend taking a look at my language learning book which will teach you exactly what you need to do in order to achieve fluency in the shortest amount of time possible.

Using YouTube To Learn A Foreign Language Fast And Free

Since you are reading this page, it is safe to assume that you know how to use the internet. If this is so, you have probably heard of a video sharing site called “YouTube” that provides you with free videos to watch that have been submitted by users. Let’s take a look at how you can use YouTube to your advantage for language learning.

There are two types of videos that you will use when trying to learn a foreign language through YouTube.

The first kind of video is the kind created by language teachers who explain a certain grammar point or give some type of lesson in the language. This is probably the best kind of video if you are just beginning. Often, you can get access to a variety of videos where people whose profession is to teach the language will sit down and teach you a grammar point or two. This is an excellent way to learn and you can find these videos by searching on YouTube for “learn Spanish” if you are interested in learning Spanish.

The second kind of video is the kind that is created by native speakers of the language you are trying to learn. You can find video blogs and other types of entertainment videos. This is probably best if you are at an intermediate or advanced level. Usually these types of videos are fun to watch, so it shouldn’t feel too much like “studying” or “doing work”. What you should do is watch these videos and use them to discover new words that you don’t know or sentence structures and grammar that you weren’t aware of before.

Additionally, if you have a camera attached to your computer and a microphone, you can create your own videos in the language you are trying to study and then invite native speakers to correct your language or help you out in other ways. This can be a great way to make new friends in the language you are trying to learn and have a fun way to practice the language.

Hopefully this article gave you an idea of the kinds of things you can do to learn a foreign language on YouTube. If you are serious about learning a foreign language in the least amount of time possible and want the advanced techniques, I would highly recommend taking a look at my language learning book.

If you want the fastest method to learn a language so that you will become fluent in a foreign language in a matter of months, learn thousands of words without worrying about forgetting them, master grammar and do all of this in an enjoyable, painless manner then you need to read Learn That Language Now!

Is Learning A Foreign Language A Waste Of Time?

I heard someone wondering recently if learning a foreign language was perhaps a waste of time. Is it a waste of time? I’ll cover this answer in this article.

As far as some of the benefits of learning a new language, I don’t think it is a waste of time. This includes the personal benefits from having a new world of entertainment opened up to you including movies, television, magazines, books, etc. It also includes the possible job benefits of being a more valuable worker, getting better pay or receiving a better position. It also includes the medical benefits of keeping your mental skills sharp and preventing the onset of brain diseases like alzheimer’s and dementia.

So, all these reasons make it clear that learning a foreign language is not simply a waste of time. However, I do believe that on the individual level, learning a new language can be a waste of time. For example, if you absolutely hate learning languages, then you’re going to have a very hard time going down the long road to fluency in a second language. Also, if the way you study a language is to do so for an hour every week, for example, then you could say that you might be wasting your time since the amount of learning you will do and actually retain will be very minimal.

Also, I should note that learning a foreign language to a certain level and then stopping and never reviewing will also make it a waste of time since you will quickly lose what you worked so hard to learn before!

In this way, learning a language is not inherently useless but it can be to you if you are not learning the right way, don’t have a good reason to want to learn it or don’t enjoy learning the language. I think that most of these problems can be fixed. That is, if you don’t enjoy learning the language, it’s probably because you are using the wrong method. If you’re interested in the fastest and most fun way to learn a new language, I would recommend taking a look at my book on the subject.

If you want the fastest method to learn a language so that you will become fluent in a foreign language in a matter of months, learn thousands of words without worrying about forgetting them, master grammar and do all of this in an enjoyable, painless manner then you need to read Learn That Language Now!

Reasons Why Learning A Foreign Language Is Helpful

I was recently asked for some reasons why learning a foreign language might be helpful. Let’s go over a few of these reasons of the benefits of studying a new language.

First, in terms of business or job prospects, knowing a foreign language can open doors for you. It can get you a better job or get you a better paying job. If you work for a large company, it may offer you the ability to travel abroad on business or obtain other added privledges. Economically speaking, you can reap great rewards if you market your language skills.

Your personal life will also receive a boost if you learn a new language. You essentially can enter a new world of entertainment including access to books, magazines, movies, television programs, radio, etc. All of these things will become available to you in the foreign language that you choose to study. Also, you will be able to make new friends and meet people that you otherwise would have never had the chance to speak to. You also get the opportunity to travel to a new country and culture and enjoy yourself at a level you would not have been able to had you only know your native language.

Studying a foreign language also has been shown to have some medical benefits, as well. It’s been found that knowing another language can prevent diseases like alzheimer’s and dementia. Also, the process of studying a foreign language gives your brain a good work out and can prevent the loss of cognitive ability as you grow older. It will keep your wits sharp!

So, I think these three realms, business, personal and medical are all included in reasons for why learning a foreign language can be helpful. If you’re thinking about learning a new language, these are all good reasons to use for motivation. Of course, if you are interested in the fastest way of learning a new language, make sure to check out the book I’ve written.

Learning A Second Language Can Help You In The Long Run

I heard someone say recently that learning a second language can help you in the long run. Now, this sentence is perhaps a bit ambiguous but it is an interesting topic so let’s examine why this might be true.

In some cases, learning a second language can be tremendously helpful. For example, it can improve your job prospects or get you a larger salary in a job you already have. Economically speaking, knowing a second language can be quite beneficial if you market the skill.

Additionally, knowing a foreign language can open up new doors for you in your personal life. You can create new friendships that you otherwise would not have had access to before. You can travel to new places and enjoy a better trip there because of your language ability. You also can enter a new world of entertainment including television programs, movies, books, newspapers, magazines, etc. in the foreign language that you are studying.

From a medical standpoint, it’s been shown that knowing a second language can prevent the onset of brain diseases like alzheimer’s and dementia. Studying a foreign language can be a good way to give your brain a work out and prevent the loss of cognitive ability as you grow older. It’s also a fun way to keep learning.

Ultimately, learning a second language is beneficial in the long run because it is helpful in all three arenas: economic, personal and medical. But, this is not to say that I recommend forcing anyone to learn a new language if they do not really want to. Learning a language is a hard process and if you try to force yourself to learn a new language, not only will you not progress very far but you will also drive yourself crazy learning new vocabulary and grammar. So, make sure the language learning process is a fun one and that learning the foreign language of your choice is really what you want.

And, if you want the fastest method to learn a language so that you will become fluent in a foreign language in a matter of months, learn thousands of words without worrying about forgetting them, master grammar and do all of this in an enjoyable, painless manner then you need to read Learn That Language Now!

Learn Languages Quickly Hints

You may be interested in the quickest or fastest way to learn a foreign language. In this article, I’ll give you two quick tips to help you on your way to fluency in a new language.

First, before you begin learning a new language, you should map out the reason why you want to learn the language in the first place. Is it because you are going to move to a country where the language is spoken? Is it because you will use the language in your job? Is it because you want to make new friends or have access to a lot of native speakers of the language? Whatever the case may be, this is the fundamental reason for your learning and should be the motivation behind your studies. Make sure that this motivation is strong enough to keep you going in your studies for a long time. Language learning is a big commitment so it’s important that you have these reasons ready to keep you going when the grammar and vocabulary get tough.

You can also use this reason for learning or motivation as part of some fun activities that promote your learning of the new language. For example, if you have access to a lot of native speakers, you may try to meet with one of them once a week to have conversation practice. In this way, not only will you be having fun and connecting with people but you will also be improving your language skill.

Second, make sure you set aside a small amount of time each day to study. It is better to study for 10 minutes per day than an hour one day per week. By studying a little bit each day, you keep the language fresh in your mind and it’s easier to progress and remember the material. Besides, it’s much easier to keep your concentration for smaller chunks of time than one large chunk of time at the end of the week. Additionally, the chance that you will want to keep studying on any particular day will be higher so that you will actually end up getting a lot more study time in than you had originally planned.

I hope these two small tips helped you. If you’re ready and serious about studying a foreign language to fluency, you may be interested in the book I’ve written based on over 10 years of experience in learning languages. You will learn the fastest way to fluency and avoid all the mistakes I made over that time.

If you want the fastest method to learn a language so that you will become fluent in a foreign language in a matter of months, learn thousands of words without worrying about forgetting them, master grammar and do all of this in an enjoyable, painless manner then you need to read Learn That Language Now!

Quickest Way Of Being Fluent In Chinese

If you are interested in learning Chinese, that is the Mandarin language, there are really two parts that you will have to focus on. You will need to learn the spoken language as well as the written language. Since Mandarin uses the Chinese character script which is not phonetic, it is necessary to learn the readings for each character. Since this script possesses thousands of characters, it is no easy task to learn them all!

If you are studying Mandarin on your own, you can begin your self-study through some of the Chinese websites. There are many free ones which cover the basics that you may be interested in. Additionally, you might be interested in an audio or software program like Pimsleur or Rosetta Stone to begin with. These can be great ways to keep you on track in the beginning since they are set courses of material to cover.

In the beginning, it may make the most sense to learn the words through the pinyin system which is the representation of Mandarin words with the roman alphabet, the same alphabet that the English language uses. Later on, you can begin to learn the characters. Since there are so many characters, it makes sense to learn them in a systematic manner. There are quite a few books on this topic.

Mandarin is a language that is quite different from English and requires a lot of time to learn, so as you study, make sure you have your reasons straight for wanting to learn the language. Make sure you have some kind of motivation to keep you going since it will probably be a long road as you learn all the words, grammar and sentence structure.

Also, you’ll want some way of keeping track of all the new words you learn so that you won’t simply learn them once and then forget them immediately. This can save you a lot of time in the long run since you won’t have to relearn lots of vocabulary. This can be as simple as keeping a list of the words in a journal but a more systematic approach is probably better including testing at various time intervals. Describing the best system for vocabulary memorization is out of the scope of this article but is a topic I cover in my book, so if you are serious about language learning, definitely check it out.

If you want the fastest method to learn a language so that you will become fluent in a foreign language in a matter of months, learn thousands of words without worrying about forgetting them, master grammar and do all of this in an enjoyable, painless manner then you need to read Learn That Language Now!

What Is The Use Of Language Now?

You might ask what the use of language now is. If you want to sustain your foreign language studies with motivation, figure out the reason you are studying the language and use it to keep you going.

Learning a new language is a hard, arduous process to fluency so you’ll definitely need something to keep you going as you go through the complex grammar rules, mountains of vocabulary and adjustment of your accent. Try to find something fun that you like to do in the language like reading an exciting book, finding a television program you like that you can download, buying an interest magazine. This way, not only will you be practicing the language as you do something fun, but you’ll be keeping yourself motivated on the real reason you want to learn the language.

If all you do is boring tasks like grammar exercises, you will lose sight of the real, fun reason you want to learn the language. We’re not learning a language to complete grammar exercises, we’re learning it to talk with people, watch entertainment, read books and speak.

So, keep yourself going by finding the real use of language for yourself right now. Then make sure you keep that reason in mind as you continue your studies. You’ll be doing a favor to yourself and motivating yourself to learn more.

And, of course, if you want the fastest method to learn a language so that you will become fluent in a foreign language in a matter of months, learn thousands of words without worrying about forgetting them, master grammar and do all of this in an enjoyable, painless manner then you need to read Learn That Language Now!

Best Country To Learn A Language In

I was recently asked, what is the best country to learn a language in? Well, I suppose it goes without saying that firstly, a country that speaks the language you are studying would be a good choice.

However, I do have a few tips to give about making any country you go to the “best” country for learning a new language. If you truly want to maximize every moment you are in the country for learning your new language which would result in the fastest learning time, it’s probably best to go to a place where there are not very many people from your home country who would tempt you into going back to speaking English.

That is to say, if you make friends mostly with people from your home country, you will likely end up spending a lot of your conversation time in English. On the other hand, if you make friends with the natives, you will be able to practice your new language and improve in it. Instead of spending the time in English situations, you will be in the foreign culture’s situation causing you to learn the foreign language better.

So, it’s possible that some countries are better than others for learning a new language if one country has fewer people from your home country to tempt you than others. But, ultimately, there’s always a place you can find in pretty much any country that will be ideal for your language learning adventure.

The point is that since you have gone through all the trouble to go to a foreign country, you may as well get the most bang for your buck and make foreign friends who will help you learn the language much quicker than you would have if you had stayed with people from your home country the entire time.

Of course, there are also other ways that you can improve your learning time and for that, I recommend taking a look at the book I’ve written listed in the link below.

If you want the fastest method to learn a language so that you will become fluent in a foreign language in a matter of months, learn thousands of words without worrying about forgetting them, master grammar and do all of this in an enjoyable, painless manner then you need to read Learn That Language Now!

Problem With Stilted Sounding Sentences and Grammar In A Foreign Language

I recently received the question of what to do if you are studying a foreign language and continue to make weird sentences or sentences that have stilted grammar.

The most common underlying cause for making strange sentences in a foreign language is that you are trying to construct the language based on either the grammar of your own language or by using memorized grammar rules from a textbook. In both of these cases, you are not feeling the language as it really is but are merely trying to convert your own language to the foreign language through a set of rules.

If you want natural sounding language, then you need to have a great amount of exposure to the new language. By repeated exposure, you will begin to pick up sentence structure and phrases that get used often. Through this manner, you, too, will become able to make natural sounding language in the foreign language. If you simply use grammar rules or try to translate from your language to the new one, you are sure to make mistakes or at the very least, create a sentence which may make sense to you in your own language or by your own rules but seem very strange or stilted to a native speaker in the foreign language.

There is a great way to get repeated exposure to natural language but it is out of the scope of this article. I do go into detail about it in my book so if you are interested, you may want to take a look at that. You can find the link below.

However, in the end, remember that you should be trying to learn the language patterns and structure by looking at real, natural language. You shouldn’t be trying to learn a foreign language by translating out of your native language or by simply using grammar rules to convert.

I hope this article helped you. If you want the fastest method to learn a language so that you will become fluent in a foreign language in a matter of months, learn thousands of words without worrying about forgetting them, master grammar and do all of this in an enjoyable, painless manner then you need to read Learn That Language Now!
